Budapest
Budapest is a city of coffee houses. Here, a few people linger in a late October afternoon on the terrace of Gerbeaud Patisserie in Pest. There will not be many more sunny days before winter.
Jim, Now we're cooking. My ancestors were all from over there, when Transylvania was considered part of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire. Were you able to visit Transylvania on your trip? There are some 3-walled fortified castles in the village of Biertan near Mediasch. This was just a short drive from Budapest. I'm trying to figure out a way to get over there soon. The frequent flyer miles are there. I need 2 weeks however. That's the problem. SOI
