Marcy and Thurston

Marcy-and-Thurston

This is my second cousin once removed Marcia Moule Robinson and her husband Thurston Robinson. To explain the relationship: My great grandfather was John Moule of London, Ontario. His youngest brother was George Moule. Marcy is George's granddaughter.

About five years ago, they moved from upstate New York where Marcy was born to Staunton, Virginia. We visited them there last week.

Your photos from this trip are memorable, from the dogwood trees in front of Trinity Church to distant relatives your children have never met. Will you be having a slide show soon (accompanied by BBQ)?

Alas, slides and slide shows are a thing of the past. We will show the equivalent on our TV set as soon as a) I obtain a capability to record DVDs and b) maybe not until we get a high definition television. I do not know when either of those will be. Maybe after I win the California Lottery.

Until then, you will just have to use your computer screen

I knew Marcia in nursing school. I would love to be in touch with her again.
