Meyer Lemon & Ricotta Puffed Pancake with Macerated Strawberries


Several Easters ago I made a Dutch Bunny for the first time.  (The San Francisco Chronicle had suggested it for an Easter brunch because of its name.)  This Easter I made a much more elaborate version with lemon zest in the batter and sliced strawberries on top.  Katherine thinks this is a winner.

The photo shows two slices topped with strawberries sitting on the grill of our range.  Obviously, I have much to learn about food photography.  Food styling is everything.
