Disneyland

We went to Disneyland last week to celebrate our granddaughter Katherine's birthday. (In the photo, Katherine is with her grandmother Katherine - e. g. my wife.)

The lines were much shorter than the last time we visited a few years ago. The weather was warm, but not hot. All in all a very pleasant experience.

In the crowds of Disneyland, one can not avoid noticing that obesity has become a major problem in America. It's scary.

Cousin Suzy

My cousin Suzanne Moule Hettrick of Buffalo, New York visited us last week. She is the sister of Marcy Moule Robinson whom we visited in Virginia last spring.

To be precise, Suzy is my second cousin once removed. She is the daughter of Reid Moule who was a Supreme Court Justice in New York. This was the fist time that we had met.
